Good's Cash Saver in Emporia, KS is hiring a Meat Clerk/Cutter to cut, trim, and prepare consumer-sized meat portions, fill cases, and keep the cutting room clean and organized. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week with starting pay up to $14 per hour, plus benefits including dental and health insurance, holidays, sick leave, and vacation.

You will wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts, receive and inspect deliveries, manage inventories, and provide friendly, efficient service to shoppers

Qualifications

• High School/G.E.D required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter to appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye.
• Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat.
• Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare in cooking form.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality.
