Bristol Farms in Santa Monica is seeking a Meat Cutter for its Meat Department. You will cut, trim, bone, weigh, and prepare beef, pork, and lamb cuts for display and sale, and help customers with product questions. You’ll also handle preparation of show-case items and assist with stock control.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.

Responsabilidades

• Cuts, trims, and bones carcass sections to cooking cuts (roasts, steaks, chops, cubes).
• Culls by-products and ensures nothing spoils.
• Breaks veal and lamb; weighs steaks and chops for servings.
• Shapes and ties roasts; restocks display cases.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat on delivery; informs manager of stock shortages.
• Provides customers with information on cuts of beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and sausages; assists with showcase prep.
