Festival Foods is seeking a Meat Cutter in Kimberly, WI. As a crucial member of the Meat Department, you will cut, grind, wrap, and trim meat to exacting standards while delivering exceptional guest service.

You’ll lead safety and sanitation, manage inventory, and help ensure the freshest products meet guest expectations. You will apply extensive knowledge of cuts and cooking techniques to assist guests, maintain department cleanliness, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter in grocery or meat production.
• Ability to deliver excellent guest service and handle guest interactions professionally.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be over the age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Expert meat cutting to prepare non-case ready products per standards.
• Provide leadership on the sales floor, ensuring safety, sanitation, and inventory control.
• Apply butcher knowledge of cuts and cooking methods to assist guests and offer best options.
• Fill service and self-service cases with fresh, frozen, and processed meat.
• Support teammates and contribute to Meat Department culture.
• Help drive sales by maintaining visually appealing products for guests.
• Minimize waste by following trimming standards and production lists.
• Package, label, and store meat products per policy.
• Assist in training Utility team members in grinding, sausage making, and wrapping.
