Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Meat Cutter Apprentice to learn cutting, trimming and preparation of a variety of meat products alongside experienced meat cutters. You’ll help with displays, maintain cleanliness and food safety, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

No prior cutting experience is required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are valued, with on‑the‑job training and mentorship to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• No prior cutting experience required; strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• On-the-job training with mentorship to develop meat cutting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in refrigerated environments.
• Customer service focus and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
