Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter Apprentice to learn the craft of cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products while working side-by-side with experienced cutters. No prior experience required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are key.

You will help with displaying products, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment. There is on-the-job training with mentorship, competitive wages, and benefits, designed to help

Qualifications

• Willingness to develop meat cutting skills through on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to learning and contributing to the team.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling practices for raw meat.
• Friendly and helpful attitude with the ability to assist customers and answer product-related questions.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in refrigerated environments.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Willingness to partner with fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn how to use meat department tools and equipment.
