What you’ll do:
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and be flexible to the needs of the business.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence; maintain work area according to company policies; enforce quality and date control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
