Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team-oriented meat production assistant to support daily fresh beef and pork cutting operations at our Greenwood store. You will follow the production schedule and help ensure accurate, attractive meat cuts for our customers.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain safe, sanitary work areas while building positive relationships with customers and teammates. Prior CAO experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
