Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes in Wisconsin is seeking a Meat Department Associate to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, and to follow the production schedule for advertised cuts.

You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.

This role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and accurate packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience with meat processing weights and measures.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience presenting and packaging products.
• Familiarity with CAO applications.
• Current handjack/HiLo license.
• Experience with inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind.
• Follow production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications)

• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
