Job Description

Position: Meat Cutter

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the meat cases are well-stocked with fresh, high quality meat and poultry products.
2. Receive, stock, cut, grind, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise meat department products.
3. Order and stock pre-packaged meat items.
4. Assist customers with special requests and answer questions about our meat products and services.
5. Work with equipment like meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines, and knives.
6. Help in unloading of trucks and maintain a clean work area.
7. Maintain safety with the equipment, in all areas, at all times.
8. Adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
