Overview

Available Work Shifts OR Days and Times Team Members Must be Available to Work

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am-6pm

Length of Time Sprouts anticipates requiring coverage of these hours

Overview Of Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures for receiving, unloading shipments, pricing, and stocking to ensure quality, protection, accuracy, and proper product rotation.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment complying with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal weights, measures, and labeling laws.
• Greet customers and take their orders.
• Cut, tray, and package meat and seafood products as required.
• Use all cutting accessories safely, including mesh gloves when using knives.
• Participate in pre-inventory prep, including back stock and tag matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in a related role.
• Preferred 2-3 years grocery retail experience in Meat department processes.
• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to follow directions.
• Strong communication skills; outgoing and friendly.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift/carry up to 90 lbs., move pallets, racks, tables, and operate equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, work inside temperature-controlled areas, and use sharp knives and machinery safely.
