Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Meat Cutter/Clerk to assist with daily cutting of fresh beef and pork, and follow the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts. You will write fresh meat orders and organize deliveries, ensuring accurate packaging and presentation.

You will maintain a positive relationship with customers and teammates, follow safety and sanitation practices, and support inventory control. A handjack license and CAO familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience presenting and packaging meat products.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
