Our franchise organization, Golden Corral - Effingham/Springfield IL, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team! The Meat Cutter’s performance, including the ability to cut for quality and quantity, significantly impacts the guest’s dining experience. Top-quality meat cutting ensures the restaurant uses its product efficiently to maximize profit and provides guests with full value in both product and service.

Food Production:

1. Cuts meat according to product specifications and time standards.
2. Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
3. Rotates cut and boxed meat to maintain freshness.
4. Stocks and arranges the Meat Cooler following approved food safety guidelines.

Cleanliness:

1. Sanitizes all surfaces between chicken and other meat production to prevent cross-contamination.
2. Recognizes signs of bad meat, such as stickiness, slickness, or bad odors.
3. Cleans and sanitizes the meat room according to cleanliness and quality standards.
4. Adheres to local health department laws.

Operational Excellence:

1. Maintains inventory of all meat products using administration forms and determines production levels.
2. Reports any discrepancies in product or equipment to the Manager.
3. Performs opening and closing administrative procedures.
4. Maintains equipment properly following the Equipment Maintenance manual.
5. Completes duty roster tasks as assigned.
