Job summary

LS Solutions is hiring for a meat cutter role in Minnesota. You will cut, trim, bone, and prepare carcass sections and prime cuts, and produce value-added items like sausage and ground meats.

You will price, wrap, and label products, maintain displays, and assist with inventory while delivering strong product knowledge to customers. We seek candidates with a high school diploma or GED, ideally with 1+ year retail or meat-cutting experience, and good reading, writing, and math skills.

Qualifications

• Meat department experience preferred with ability to follow recipes and standards.
• Retail or customer service experience helpful for suggestive selling.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required to perform tasks accurately.
• Attention to detail and strong on-shelf presentation are needed.

Role Overview: Responsible for accurately cutting, preparing, and merchandising various types of meats in accordance with company standards, contributing to the store's financial success. Tasks include slicing, weighing, and packaging meat products, following recipes for value-added items, and maintaining product quality and safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferably 1+ year retail or related experience, with prior meat cutting experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and possess basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with suggestive selling knowledge.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 30-50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and work in varied temperatures. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
