Job summary

Juniors Supermarkets is seeking a Meat Department team member to provide excellent customer service, greet shoppers, help with product questions, and keep meat displays well stocked and tidy.

You will work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, following sanitation procedures and collaborating with colleagues and store leadership to ensure fresh, high-quality products are always available.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling meat products is a plus.
• Must be able to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Job Purpose:
Join our Fresh Foods team in the Meat Department, where you’ll provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized department, and ensure our fresh products are well-stocked and attractively displayed. This role is focused on creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while working in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• -Greet and assist customers with product questions and selections.
• -Maintain product displays, ensuring freshness and quality standards are met.
• -Keep the meat department clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• -Monitor inventory levels and support ordering as needed.
• -Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• -Work collaboratively with team members and store leadership.
• - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and dress code.
• -Assist in other duties as assigned, such as stocking shelves or cleaning the department.

Additional Duties: Management reserves the right to assign additional tasks as necessary to support store operations. Employees will be provided with proper training and protective equipment for any and all assigned tasks that require special handling.

Qualifications

Preferred Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

• - Previous experience in a customer service role
• - Experience handling and preparing meat products (preferred)
