Stater Bros. Markets in Corona, CA is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver G.O.A.T service to customers, assist with meat selections, and ensure products are fresh and well displayed.

You will support daily department operations including cutting, packaging, labeling, and inventory management in a fast-paced retail setting. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to handle slicing, grinding, repackaging, and special orders while adhering to food safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma is preferred but not required.
• A valid Food Handler / Health Card.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Friendly, helpful attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with purchases of products and services such as slicing, grinding, repackaging, serving suggestions, etc.
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing for all meat department products per company policies and food safety standards.
• Maintain proper supply of products in cases and deli through rotation and display.
• Clean up wrapping, scaling, and production equipment per cleaning procedures.
• Adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations and company recipes.
• Grind meat and prepare specialty items like kabobs and marinated cuts.
• Handle meat processing equipment safely and responsibly.
• Orders products and supplies; inventory as assigned.
• Work with team to ensure smooth department operations and customer experience.
• All other related duties as required.
