Job summary

El Super is hiring a Meat Clerk for #19 Phoenix - W. Thomas. Starting rate is $16.50 per hour. You will deliver friendly customer service, help maintain meat displays, and assist with special orders in a busy grocery setting.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 60 pounds, stand and bend for long periods; prior retail experience is beneficial. This location emphasizes community focus and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Regularly lift and move heavy items as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment.
• Clean shelves and rotate displays; maintain meat displays.
• Assist with special customer orders and coordinate with Meat Cutter on items to be cut.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand/bend for extended periods.
