Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Meat Clerk at Store 011 Houston-Airline/I-45 to deliver friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced grocery environment. You will assist customers, keep the meat department clean, rotate displays, and collaborate with the Meat Cutter on special orders.

Requirements include the ability to read and communicate in Spanish and English, a strong focus on customer service, and physical stamina to lift up to 60 pounds. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with customers and co-workers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling requirements (Food Handler Card).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers in the meat department.
• Clean shelves and display cases; rotate and stock meat displays.
• Assist customers with special orders and coordinate with the Meat Cutter.
• Must be able to lift up to 50–60 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
