Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Meat Clerk at 008 Houston-Wirt Road to join our Store Operations Team in Houston, TX. This role supports customer service, stocking, and display maintenance in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Under direct supervision, you will work with the Meat Cutter on item prep and special orders, while meeting requirements such as a Food Handler Card and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Bilingual Spanish/English is highly valued.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful customer service. Assists customers, cleans shelves, and displays cases. Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays. Works with customers to take special orders as well as with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
