Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to support the Gueydan, LA compressor station and surrounding measurement facilities. The role covers installation, maintenance and operation of advanced measurement and control equipment across the region.

The position requires strong technical ability, adherence to safety practices, and the capacity to coordinate with third parties. On-call nights and weekends are required, with potential limited travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of pipeline experience.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety aspects of measurement projects.
• Proficient with computer skills including MS Office and company software.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and remove measurement and control equipment.
• Monitor gas volumes and ensure accurate measurement and proper documentation.
• Interpret electrical schematics related to EFM and measurement electronics.
• Oversee third-party construction/maintenance activities and ensure safety compliance.
• Complete documentation and work per company standards and regulatory requirements.
