Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Measurement Technician based at Gueydan, LA (NGPL Gueydan Compressor Station 346). The role covers sites from Johnson Bayou, LA to Erath, LA and may include Eunice, LA. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call nights and weekends.

The position requires installation, inspection, and maintenance of complex measurement and control systems, along with strong documentation and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of pipeline experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• May require commercial driver’s license and operation of company vehicle.
• Completion of site specific technical training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, adjust, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and remove advanced measurement, control and gas quality equipment.
• Detect measurement error and correct volumes as needed with proper documentation.
• Monitor gas volumes and ensure corrections and gas composition are applied.
• Interpret electrical/electronic schematics for EFM and measurement electronics.
• Oversee maintenance activities and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
