Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a qualified Gas Measurement Technician to maintain gas meters, regulators, relief valves, RTU/SCADA equipment and related communication gear. The role ensures compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements while supporting safe, reliable operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 0-4+ years in midstream operations. You will work in a hands-on environment with opportunities for career growth and competitive benefits, including

Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of EPA, DOT, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with specifications, codes, safety standards and procedures.
Perform calibration, inspection and maintenance of equipment for quality and quantity determination.
Install instrumentation and equipment in new or renovated measurement/regulation facilities.
Inspect and maintain pressure and volumetric control equipment.
Collect gas samples in compliance with safety guidelines.
Participate in partnership safety programs and initiatives.
