Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Measurement Technician responsible for maintaining gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU and SCADA equipment, and related communication gear, as well as valves and generators, to meet operational and regulatory needs.

The role includes calibration, testing, and installation in new and renovated facilities, plus inspection of pressure and volumetric control systems, and safe gas sampling in line with partnership guidelines.

Qualifications

• EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with specifications, codes, safety standards and procedures.
• Perform periodic accuracy tests including calibration, inspection and maintenance of equipment for quality and quantity determination.
• Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
• Inspect and maintain all pressure and volumetric control equipment.
• Collect gas samples per safety and industry guidelines.
• Participate in partnership safety programs and initiatives.
