Job summary

Patriot Advertising, Inc. is seeking a Measurement Supervisor to lead Gas Chromatograph Technicians in the Texas Region Operations. You will supervise staff, monitor field and plant GC systems remotely and on-site, ensure safety program compliance, and support equipment specification and measurement accuracy.

The role requires 5+ years in gas chromatography, DOT/API/AGA/GPA familiarity, and strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is preferred.
• A minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Supervisor, Step-Up Supervisor or Lead Technician is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years' experience with gas chromatography is preferred.
• Background in measurement and pipeline operations is required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and API/AGA/GPA specifications is required.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as percentages, ratios and proportions is required.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel are required.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is preferred.
• Understanding of Natural Gas Measurement and ability to oversee operations and maintenance of mechanical/electronic equipment is required.
• The ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders is required.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and hazardous conditions is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure full compliance with Company safety programs
• Supervise and monitor area staff including scheduling and training
• Review records for area staff time worked, expense reports, and other work reports
• Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide annual feedback
• Monitor spending to stay within budgets and assist in annual budgets
• Remotely monitor all field and plant gas chromatographs in the area
• Provide technical support for Gas Chromatograph Technicians in field and remotely
• Review and approve specification of new gas chromatograph equipment by Measurement Engineering
• Work with Material Balance to maintain measurement accuracy and minimize imbalances
• Ensure full compliance with all Company Natural Gas Measurement standards and policies
