Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Measurement Lab Analyst in Downtown Houston to provide technical troubleshooting, training, and support for ABB 8206 and Daniel-Emerson 470XA gas chromatographs and related gas quality devices.

Hands-on experience with ABB and Daniel-Emerson online GCs is required. The role involves field and lab collaboration, developing procedures, conducting gas analysis, calibrations, and assisting with new technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with ABB 8206 and Daniel-Emerson 470XA, 500 and 700XA gas chromatographs.
• Associates or Bachelor degree in instrumentation, electrical or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant measurement experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to Field Operations with GC devices.
• Lead training classes on operation and repair of ABB and Daniel chromatographs.
• Lead audits of field chromatographs and related equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and Project Management for meter sites.
• Troubleshoot GC sampling systems and device performance.
• Review GC analysis data and evaluate results for acceptance.
