Made in the Shade is seeking a Window Treatment Installer in Mount Laurel, NJ. This role involves measuring and installing blinds, shades, shutters, exterior shades, and drapes in customers’ homes with a focus on craftsmanship and 5-star service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman or general carpentry experience required.
• In-home window covering installation experience is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and customer-service focused.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders and stairs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (van provided).
• Employment is subject to the successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and prepared (tooling is provided).
• Measure and install window treatments accurately for a clean finish.
• Troubleshoot install issues and resolve them professionally.
• Protect customer homes and leave the workspace clean.
• Care for provided tools and equipment.
• Stay current on products and installation best practices, including programming motorization and apps.
