Padmore Global Connections LLC seeks an IN-DOH-Measles Epidemiologist I for a contract role in Indianapolis. Hybrid work with 2 days in person and 3 remote, start November 30, 2026. You will support measles surveillance, respond to health inquiries, and coordinate testing with state labs to monitor and reduce disease burden.

The position emphasizes epidemiologic investigations, data analysis, and collaboration with public health partners. Strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant field (public health, biological sciences, or social sciences).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with public health experience or equivalent.
• Experience in epidemiology, surveillance, and data analysis.
• Proficiency with public health informatics and essential software.

Aufgaben

• Provide prompt technical assistance to health care providers, local health departments, and public audiences.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing with IDOH Laboratories and health partners.
• Conduct surveillance using state systems (NBS, ESSENCE) and other tools.
• Develop educational materials for professionals and the public.
• Assist with surveillance and investigation of cases and outbreaks.
• Provide surge capacity for data entry of reports and lab results.
• Serve as IDOH epidemiologist on call during non-business hours (as needed).
• Back up other staff as required.
