Job summary

Schreiner University Online seeks a Coordinator of Meaningful Work to connect students with authentic work experiences on/off campus and support faculty and staff in experiential learning. You will collaborate with departments to expand internships, CIP, and pre-professional advising while coordinating Living-Learning Communities and national conference participation.

The role involves teaching IDST courses, developing programs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Relevant higher education experience 2-3 years preferred.
• Experience working directly with students 1-1 and in groups; with faculty in university setting required.
• Some teaching experience preferred.
• Experience developing, promoting, and managing experiential learning for students.
• Some experience with living and learning/learning communities preferred.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programming aligned with Schreiner University Strategic Plan.
• Lead student employment opportunities, career development, and employment services for students.
• Coordinate living-learning communities and experiential learning opportunities.
• Plan workshops, events, and career readiness activities.
• Collaborate with departments to market experiential learning and expand partnerships.
• Maintain online recruitment system and update Meaningful Work website.
• Collect data for program goals, prepare annual assessment reports.
