Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC seeks a Work-Based Learning Coordinator to advance student success through work experiences and applied learning. You will coordinate enrollment, manage data, ensure compliance, and support program operations across applied science areas.
You will recruit students, engage employers, build external partnerships, and monitor records while collaborating with faculty and leadership to deliver high-quality opportunities and outstanding customer service.
Operating within the student-centered framework of holistic advising and success coaching, this position is a critical driver of program efficacy and student upward mobility. This position is directly responsible for coordinating student work experiences by maintaining operational excellence through meticulous data management, compliance tracking, and administrative efficiency in applied science program areas. Furthermore, this role spearheads targeted recruitment and outreach initiatives to expand program visibility, while simultaneously cultivating external partnerships to secure, facilitate, and monitor high-impact student work-experience and experiential learning opportunities.

Interacts with industry partners to promote student engagement through work experience.
Supports data collection and analytics in collaboration with the Director, compiling class reports, service utilization metrics, and participant satisfaction data.
Serves as the primary liaison for faculty coordinator and student concerns, proactively addressing issues and collaborating with leadership to implement timely resolutions that deliver a high level of customer service.
Knowledge of excellent customer service and communication across modes (in-person, online, phone, presentations, training) and the ability to engage in:

Proven experience using and managing cloud-based systems and applications such as Microsoft 365, Google Suite, etc.
Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility and reliability to work independently.
Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness in troubleshooting, problem solving, and developing new ideas and strategies.
Ability to travel to other campus locations and work evening and weekend events as necessary.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment with strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and projects.
Able to work efficiently with flexibility to re-prioritize tasks when faced with unforeseen challenges.
Ability to work with diverse groups.
