Job summary

Ardmore is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Lanham, Maryland to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help with daily living, community participation and skill development in diverse community settings, with both in-person and virtual supports.

The role focuses on person-centered planning, relationship-building, and safety, with training and opportunities to grow within Ardmore’s Employment First philosophy.

Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to residents in various settings.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Coordinate social activities and community outings.
• Maintain confidentiality and documentation in state-required formats.
• Report incidents promptly per Ardmore policy.
