AgeWell Services of West Michigan in Muskegon, MI is seeking a part-time Logistics Loader to support Meals on Wheels operations. The Loader ensures drivers have the correct food, supplies, paperwork, and route materials, and assists with loading and route preparation.

You will maintain an organized loading area, help with freezer meal prep, and communicate routes updates to drivers and management, while following food safety procedures and workplace policies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, coworkers, and management.

• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills and ability to count food items and supplies.

Responsabilités

• Ensure each driver receives the correct food, supplies, paperwork, and other materials for their route.
• Verify routes have the appropriate items before drivers leave the facility.
• Assist in loading area organization to support efficient daily departures.
• Load and unload food and supplies from transportation carriers and delivery vehicles.
• Maintain Route readiness and depart on schedule per established timelines.
• Serve as a primary contact for drivers’ questions during loading and route support.
• Communicate menus, updates, and changes from management to drivers.
• Assist with ensuring proper food safety procedures and temperature controls.
