Job summary

Partners in Prime seeks a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support the Meals on Wheels program. You will help prepare, package, organize and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment to ensure safe, nutritious meals for participants.

Follow health and safety rules, work as part of a team, manage basic food prep and clean up, and assist with inventory and occasional meal deliveries when needed. Entry level position; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance as per program standards.
• Entry level; no prior experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, organize and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
• Follow COA and Partners in Prime policies and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with daily food preparation and use kitchen appliances safely.
• Maintain inventories and restock supplies as needed.
• Occasionally drive/deliver meals during emergencies or when staff is unavailable.
