Job summary

Monroe County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a driver to transport and deliver meals to homebound clients under the Home-Delivered Meals Program. You will ensure timely, courteous service and adherence to DOEA standards, reporting to the Manager, In-Home & Nutrition Services.

Responsibilities include delivering meals countywide, maintaining temperatures, distributing nutrition materials, handling records, and performing daily vehicle tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
• Food Safety Handler certificate within 30 days of employment.
• Background screening Level II required.
• Alliance for Aging Nutrition Program annually required.

Responsibilities

• Transports and delivers meals to homebound clients.
• Maintains proper meal temperatures to meet food safety standards.
• Distributes nutrition education materials to recipients as directed.
• Maintains accurate delivery records for billing and compliance.
• Completes all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
