Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County is seeking a Meal Services Program Specialist to support the daily meal program. You will prepare pre-made meals, serve Club members, and maintain required documentation while ensuring a sanitary kitchen and eating area for youth.

You will work 2-3 hours per day, typically from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, requiring dependability and a strong ability to follow procedures. You must meet background screening requirements and safely handle food in a supportive youth

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pre-made meals and food items for daily service.
  • Serve meals and snacks to Club members in a timely and organized manner.
  • Complete and maintain required meal service documentation accurately and on time.
  • Follow established food safety, sanitation, and meal service procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, counters, serving areas, kitchen surfaces, and other meal areas following service.
  • Wash and properly store dishes, utensils, serving equipment, and other meal service materials.
  • Ensure the kitchen and eating areas are clean and ready for the next meal service.
  • Communicate meal service concerns or needs to the Club Director.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Meal Services Program Specialist supports the daily meal program by preparing pre‑made food for service, serving meals to Club members, maintaining required documentation, and ensuring the kitchen and eating areas remain clean and sanitary. This position helps create a safe, welcoming, and organized meal experience for youth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare pre‑made meals and food items for daily service.
  • Serve meals and snacks to Club members in a timely and organized manner.
  • Complete and maintain required meal service documentation accurately and on time.
  • Follow established food safety, sanitation, and meal service procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, counters, serving areas, kitchen surfaces, and other meal areas following service.

Physical Requirements
