Job summary

The Chalmers Center seeks a Monitoring and Reporting Specialist to design and maintain MEAL systems, collect data, and produce timely reports for internal leaders, donors, and partners. You will ensure data quality and translate results into actionable insights with dashboards and visuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in MEAL or related field.
• Experience in monitoring, database management, and technical report writing.
• Work experience in domestic social service projects and/or International Relief and Development.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Management, Social Sciences, International Development Studies, or related field.
• Proficiency in mobile data collection platforms (KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare, SurveyCTO).
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience managing log-frames, indicators, and donor reporting templates.
• Strong written communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into reports.
• Strong theological alignment with the Chalmers Center’s vision for biblical poverty alleviation.
• Willingness to travel internationally (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy standardized data collection tools (surveys, digital forms).
• Manage and maintain program monitoring systems, indicators, dashboards.
• Provide training on data entry guidelines and tracking protocols.
• Draft, edit, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders.
• Synthesize data into clear summaries, charts, dashboards.
• Coordinate with PSI and other teams to collect success stories.
• Ensure reporting adheres to donor guidelines and timelines.
• Conduct data audits to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
