Job summary

Momentum Engineering Fort Meade, Maryland, is seeking a Protocol Analyst to support advanced signal analysis and characterization efforts. The successful candidate will analyze signal structures, define parameters, model behavior, and evaluate networking and protocol characteristics within RF systems and SIGINT-related disciplines.

This role requires active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph and a strong background in RF signal analysis, networking protocols, and emerging signal

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's with 8 years; Associate with 10+ years in-depth related experience.
• Strong experience with networking and communications protocols.
• Experience performing RF signal analysis and characterization.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with complex and emerging signal technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RF signals to determine structure, parameters, behavior, and performance characteristics.
• Conduct signal characterization, modeling, and protocol/network analysis.
• Evaluate complex signal environments and identify technical characteristics relevant to mission requirements.

Job Summary

• Conduct signal characterization, modeling, and protocol/network analysis
• Evaluate complex signal environments and identify technical characteristics relevant to mission requirements
• Support research and development activities involving advanced RF technologies
• Document analysis results and provide technical findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with engineering, intelligence, and mission stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
• Strong demonstrated experience with networking and communications protocols
• Experience performing RF signal analysis and characterization
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with complex and emerging signal technologies

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: COMINT, ELINT, or FISINT
• R&D experience involving advanced signal technologies
• Experience supporting weapons or space-related mission areas

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Salary Information

The pay range for this role is:
135,000 - 170,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
