Job summary

Connect Staffing and Consulting seeks an M/E Engineer (Electrical) to support planning, coordination, construction, commissioning, and delivery of large-scale mission-critical facilities across the United States. Open to candidates nationwide with extensive travel to project sites.

You will review designs, coordinate with owners and teams, and contribute to budget and value engineering efforts while ensuring schedule and quality objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural Eng or related field.
  • 5+ years in engineering, construction, MEP consulting, or project delivery.
  • Experience reviewing and coordinating electrical building systems.
  • Familiar with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field coordination.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience on mission critical, data center, healthcare, or large-scale infra projects is preferred.

  • Support electrical systems coordination throughout project lifecycle, from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
  • Review design documents, drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Participate in constructability reviews, quality control efforts, and field inspections.
  • Assist with budget development, estimating, value engineering, and system analysis.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify solutions to maintain schedule, quality, and performance objectives.

M/E Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Open to candidates nationwide
Travel: Extensive project-based travel required

Are you an Electrical Engineer who enjoys working on complex, high-profile projects and collaborating with industry-leading teams?

We are seeking an experienced M/E Engineer to support the planning, coordination, construction, commissioning, and delivery of large-scale Mission Critical facilities across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy a dynamic project environment and are open to traveling to support some of the most advanced and technically challenging projects in the industry.

What You'll Do
  • Support electrical systems coordination throughout the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
  • Review design documents, drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of engineering, construction, MEP consulting, or project delivery experience.
  • Experience reviewing and coordinating electrical building systems.
  • Familiarity with construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field coordination.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, data center, healthcare, higher education, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE License, FE/EIT certification, or pursuit of professional licensure.
  • Experience with mission critical or data center projects.
  • Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SKM, BIM, or similar engineering software.
  • Commissioning, QA/QC, and constructability review experience.
