Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Montgomery, AL seeks a Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator to oversee MDS processes and PDPM-based reimbursement within a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliant, timely MDS assessments and effective care planning.

The ideal candidate will have RN/LPN background, strong MDS knowledge, and experience with PDPM guidelines, along with excellent analytical and organizational skills to support financial performance and resident

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MDS processes, coding guidelines, and PDPM regulations.
• Experience with MDS software and coordination in SNF settings.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate across nursing, therapy, social work, and other teams.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• MDS Coordination: oversee the MDS process and ensure compliant completion.
• PDPM Management: apply PDPM guidelines for accurate reimbursement.
• Assessment & Documentation: review records and complete MDS assessments timely.
• Care Plan Development: collaborate on individualized care plans based on MDS findings.
• Quality Assurance: audits of MDS and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: coordinate with nursing, therapy, social work, and others.
• Reimbursement Optimization: analyze coding to maximize PDPM reimbursements.
• Staff Education: train staff on MDS and PDPM requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: stay updated on state and federal MDS rules.
• Data & Reporting: generate reports on MDS, reimbursement, and outcomes.
