Job summary

Regency at Fremont in Michigan is seeking an experienced MDS Nurse to assist with completing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), including the MDS and CAAs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with federal and state regulations.

You will support individualized care planning and collaborate with care teams, with preferred MDS/RAI experience, knowledge of PDPM/ICD-10, and CPR/LPN qualification; offers a strong benefits package and sign-on bonus for part-time placement.

Qualifications

• Prior MDS/RAI experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of RAI guidelines, PDPM, ICD-10 coding, Quality Measures, and Care Area Assessments and Care Planning processes.
• Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including the principles of the PPS and Case Mix systems strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in independent functioning and strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate and timely completion of the MDS/RAI process, including CAAs and care planning.
• Ensure assessments reflect each resident’s clinical status and support individualized care planning.
• Support documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
