Job summary

Aaron Manor Nursing & Rehab Center seeks an MDS Nurse supervised by the Director of Nursing and MDS Coordinator to complete the nursing sections of the MDS+ assessment, coordinating with all disciplines to ensure timely submission.

The role requires current NYS RN licensure, no on-calls or weekends, and a focus on accurate documentation, quality care, and adherence to regulatory standards. RAC certification is highly preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Nurse with a current license to practice in NYS.
• RAC certification highly preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Long Term Care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes the nursing sections of the MDS+ assessment.
• Coordinates MDS info with other disciplines to ensure timely submission.
• Attends Medicare/facility meetings as needed and supports discharge planning.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with safety and regulatory standards.
• Keeps work areas clean and participates in ongoing training.
