Job summary

Priority Management seeks an MDS Nurse to ensure timely, accurate completion of the RAI and care management process from admission to discharge in line with policy and Federal, State, and Certification guidelines. A current LPN/LVN or RN license and MDS experience are required, with training in rehabilitative nursing and knowledge of managed care rules.

The role reports to the VP of Clinical Reimbursement and may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN or RN in the state.
• Three years’ MDS experience in a nursing care facility preferred.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is required.
• Working knowledge of managed care rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of the RAI and care management process from admission to discharge per policy and guidelines.
• Coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department under the VP of Clinical Reimbursement.
