Job summary

Advanced Health Institute is seeking a skilled MDS nurse to join our consulting team. The role can be Part Time with potential to become Full Time and offers a mix of Remote and On-site engagement with clients in the Minneapolis area.

You will advise healthcare agencies, maintain nursing standards, and deliver quality services including mock surveys, education, and process analyses. A RN license and MDS/PDPM experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (preferred, but not required).
• 2-5 years experience in MDS, PDPM and reimbursement in long-term facility.
• Active and unrestricted state RN licensure.
• ANACC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as an advisor for healthcare agencies and facilities.
• Maintain current on professional standards of nursing care, federal and state statutes/regulations.
• Provide professional, quality-driven services, including mock surveys, education, research, analysis of healthcare systems and processes, and written presentations to clients.
• Assist clients with assessing, planning, developing and implementing systems and other needs as requested.
• Consult and provide technical or interim management assistance to providers as requested.
• Identify training needs; plan and conduct training/in-services as requested.
• Develop MDS / Reimbursement service line within AHIMaintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations
