Job summary

Complete Care | New Jersey Complete Care is seeking an experienced MDS Director (RN) to oversee the MDS process at one of our skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey. We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented professional with strong clinical assessment skills and a thorough understanding of MDS, PDPM, and reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact RN license required.
• Prior MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility required.
• Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
• MDS leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the MDS assessment process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and state and federal regulations.
• Manage care planning, documentation, and reimbursement accuracy.

• Oversee and coordinate the MDS assessment process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support quality resident care.

Qualifications

• RAC-CT (Resident Assessment Coordinator – Certified) certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement.
• Previous MDS leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with PointClickCare preferred.
