Job summary

Delmar Gardens on the Green in Missouri is seeking a Full-Time MDS Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and coordinate MDS duties in a long-term care setting. A Missouri RN license is required, and MDS experience is essential for accurate documentation and reimbursement.

This RN specialist must be proficient with EHRs (MatrixCare a bonus) and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure care level is properly reflected for Medicare PDPM and Medicaid reimbursement programs.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking Full-Time MDS Registered Nurses (RN) who possess excellent organizational, leadership, assessment and documentation skills. MDS experience in a long-term care setting and a Registered Nursing license in the state of Missouri is required.

This RN specialist must also be proficient in electronic health record systems; familiarity with MatrixCare EHR software is a plus. In addition, the candidate must have a strong understanding of Missouri Case Mix, participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits and have the ability to work closely with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure the level of care provided is fully supported in the documentation. This nurse plays a key role in obtaining accurate reimbursement for Medicare under the Prospective Payment System (PDPM) as well as Medicaid reimbursement through the Case Mix System.
