Job description

Role Overview:

This position involves ensuring appropriate reimbursement for patient care services, participating in the Patient Assessment Process through completion of the MDS and Care Area Assessments (CAAs), and assisting in developing individualized patient care plans.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, adhering to guidelines for completion, encoding, and transmission of MDS.
• Identify patient condition changes and coordinate assessments with the team.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living training for new and existing staff.
• Attend educational programs to stay current with RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with prior experience in healthcare settings, especially in completing MDSs and Care Plans. Knowledge of long-term care laws, regulations, and medical practices is essential.
