Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking an RN with MDS/RAI experience to join our team as an MDS Coordinator in Raleigh, NC. You will develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process, ensuring the facility remains compliant with current standards, orders, policies and regulations.

Ideal candidates have active RN licensure and at least familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and OBRA. We offer flexible schedules, annual reviews, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice.
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, LTC payer systems, OBRA, RAI/MDS process preferred or prior nursing in LTC.

• Ensure compliance with professional standards, physician orders, policies and procedures, and local, state and federal regulations.

As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring the center stays in compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Entry Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
