Job summary

Tutera Senior Living and Health Care in Mattoon is seeking a MDS Coordinator | RN to oversee the timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and manage care from admission to discharge. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Prior MDS experience preferred.

Mattoon Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a MDS Coordinator | RN. The role entails timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State, and Certification guidelines. With direction from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement, you may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management from admission to discharge.
• Coordinate data tracking for Minimum Data Set, discharge, and admission as appropriate.
• Assist with information systems operations and education for the clinical department as directed.

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the practicing state
• Prior MDS experience preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement preferred
• Understanding of Quality Indicator process, OBRA regulations, and Minimum Data Set
• Knowledge of the care planning process
• Professional image in appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
