Job summary

Cantex is seeking a MDS Coordinator in Flower Mound, TX to ensure accurate MDS processes and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Administrator/Director of Nursing and supports high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Texas nursing license required (RN/LVN).
• At least 2 years LTC experience preferred.
• HHSC RUG Online Training certificate required.
• AANAC RAI Certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate MDS assessments and documentation.
• Coordinate care plans and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal Medicaid/Medicare rules.
• Audit clinical records and train staff on documentation guidelines.
• Prepare for Medicaid audits and coordinate billing processes.
