Qualifications

Responsibilities

• MDS scheduling and completion for OBRA/PPS/Managed Care using RAI guidelines.
• Assist with care plan scheduling and completion with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assign and update ICD-10 codes based on physician diagnoses at admission and with each MDS.
• Transmit OBRA/PPS MDS Assessments to CMS per Federal Guidelines.
• Complete certifications/recertifications when residents receive Medicare Part A.
• Oversee MDS documentation and charting requirements for services provided.
• Educate staff on MDS processes as needed.
• Assist with data collection for audits (State, Medicare, Managed Care).
