Job summary

sarasotapoint is seeking an LPN with MDS experience to join our team in Sarasota, FL. As an MDS Coordinator you will develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process, ensuring compliance with OBRA, physician orders, and company policies.

You will manage Medicare/Medicaid requirements, oversee the MDS process, and maintain regulatory standards to support quality of care. We offer flexible schedules, performance reviews, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and six paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, OBRA, RAI/MDS processes.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the RAI/MDS process to ensure timely assessments.
• Develop and implement the Resident Assessment Instrument program.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and physician orders.

As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring the center stays in compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Entry Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse LPN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State registration as an LPN
• Knowledgeable of OBRA, the RAI process and LTC payer systems, and MDS process.
