Qualifications

• Current Nursing License in good standing.
• Experience in geriatric nursing and commitment to resident-centered care.
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of nursing home regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Follow Federal and State guidelines for comprehensive assessments (MDS).
• Review MDS and care plan files for accuracy, thoroughness, and organization.
• Maintain expertise in software systems for data entry and reporting.
• Attend and coordinate interdisciplinary meetings.
• Adjust care plans based on current assessments and resident status.
• Generate Quality Indicators Reports to support care improvement.
• Ensure timely transmission of MDS assessments.
• Attend professional development sessions to keep current.
• Collect and report ancillary services to corporate billing.
